Coding is acknowledged globally as the most important skill that students should learn to be 21st century ready. Apart from hands-on learning of technology, coding builds critical thinking and analytical thinking that are essential skills for future careers in all streams. The National Education Policy 2019 draft has proposed computational thinking and coding to be added to mainstream school curriculums.
